The Language Learning Center (LLC) at Osaka Institute of Technology (OIT) is seeking an experienced teacher to join the team as a full-time lecturer.
About the LLC: The LLC is a self-access learning center (SALC) located at the Omiya campus of OIT and serves as a gathering/learning space for a community of English language learners. Visiting students can make reservations for 1-to-1 meetings with teachers, participate in the "Speaking Program," join "Free Conversation" sessions at lunch time, and can attend elective classes. The LLC also holds four seasonal events throughout the year, including Halloween and Christmas parties.

About the Position: The LLC team is responsible for running the SALC, teaching credit and non-credit courses, leading "Free Conversation" sessions, meeting with students in the "Consultation Room," and planning/participating in seasonal events. The team also provides some services to the Hirakata and Umeda campuses. Lecturers work 8 hour shifts daily for 40 hour weeks.
The ideal candidate to join the team would have some experience working in a SALC, experience working closely with members of a team, and be able to adapt to a wide variety of roles and responsibilities.
